What is a good way to check the cowl ?

i am getting some leak down in the cabin when it rains or when i wash my car, both passenger and driver side, i want to check the cowl and make sure it aint plugged. is their a easy way to check it, like maybe getting a hanger down the sides and seeing if its jammed or what are some good methods?

Easiest way is to remove the wipers arms then remove the 6 screws holding the cowl cover down and finally remove the windshield washer nozzle hose. This will allow you access to the cowl to clean all of the debris out really well.

ya i got all the way to that part lol my problem is seeing all the way down on the sides, like i just didnt know if the cowl runs down on both sides of the car, and could possibly get plugged up cause the part that i can see is clean.

If that is all clean then you need to pull the inner fender liners out as this is the area where it drains out. When you pull those you should be able to see the opening in either corner of the cowl that open into behind the fender liners.
