dash lights and turn signals

Hey guys, so my recently bought mustang has couple of problems. Right now my dash lights aren't working. I mean I can see the check engine lights and all those when I turn on the car but the lights to show the fuel gauge and the other gauges don't work.

Also my turn signals are not working, I don't know what the previous owner did.

What could the problem be?

Not positive on this but for the blinkers r ur flashers hooked up I had a car that didn't have the flashers hooked up and my blinkers wouldn't work just a guess.

And the dash lights not working again a guess but I had another car that someone ripped the stereo out and it made my lights not work till I put a new one in.

This is all guesses but im sure someone will help u with for sure info

My 95 had the same problem, I bought a $20 headlight switch(@the dash)problem solved. My 91 T-Bird, same exact issue.

Did you try twisting the headlight switch knob to make sure someone hasn't just turned them off?
If that isn't the case then you will likely need to replace the headlight switch.
The turn signals may just need the flasher replaced or they could be tied into a headlight switch problem if it is bad.

Actually both my 95's had that issue. In my T-bird the dimmer would actually dim the tail lights out completely

If the headlight switch is bad, when you unplug it from the harness you will see a brownish burnt spot which will be a dead give away no need to spend what could be hours tracking and looking at wires as this is a common problemÓźā
