1993 Cobra Exhaust Question

Just bought my first Mustang, it's a 93 Cobra. The previous owner has a set of catless Flowmaster H pipes. They are a bit louder then I am looking for. I am looking for some thing that will give me a nice deep growl when idling and in a lower gear but will be quieter while in a higher gear at highway speeds. I was looking at a set of Magna flows but I'm looking for suggestions. Right now its almost impossible to talk while inside the car to a passenger while driving because of how loud it is.

not having cats is going to be loud regardless of muffler choice unless u use stock mufflers. now that im thinkn bout it, that may be the sound you are looking for since you dont have cats.

Well I'm probably going to get something with cats to make it quieter but I have to get new pipes so I figure I'll just replace everything minus the headers.

$7000, it was in a minor accident and had the door replaced so it's not a numbers car anymore. But the body was still in good shape and I'm going to restore it to factory quality minus a few minor upgrades.

Yeah, I'm very happy with it. The floor pans are still all straight. It was painted but it doesn't match so after paint and a few other minor things it should be near perfect. Just need to replace the exhaust with something a little more subtle and since New York is getting more strict about emissions adding cats back in is probably going to be mandatory.
