It's Alive!

Not a good quality video (and its short) but it starts and runs by itself Open exhaust and not running quite right. Think I've got a vacuum leak. But I'm stoked.

Re: It's Alive!

Got some more work done on the stang today. Found the vacuum leak, it was the EGR valve. Will be taking it off and making a block off plate for it (just have vacuum line pluged for now). New TPS sensor, new battery, got the H-pipe hooked up and O2 sensors in and connected. Got the idle set, though I can't find my timing light to make sure thats right. It cuts out for a second when you snap the throttle, but a steady rev does just fine. I think this is the first time I've worked on it and NOT found something else broken/not working! Have to get all the brakes bled and make something to get my TV cable to work, get the rest of the exhaust on. Then it can be driven. Still need to do the floors and hatch, then I can start working on the interior. Hoping in a few weeks I'll be able to get some driving time in before the snow starts falling.

Re: It's Alive!

Glad to hear you are making progress.
Maybe things will start falling together for you instead of apart now.
