Haha.. He txt me and asked if I was interested just out of the blue.. He had seen some of my ads me saying I was looking for a set. So I traded a few small interior pieces and a lil cash value prob $400... And he drove them 180 miles each way to me.

Nice! But is that all you could manage?
They look really good on there.

I imagine you know this, but be really careful about running aluminum rims without a nut or three. They can easily warp and bend.

Yeah I know lol actually folded a front rim in the past turning very hard with very loose lug nuts it bent like crazy... But yeah I know I torqued them evenly and only have 1 missing from all 4..

91 MUSTANG HATCHBACK
Nice, but there are at least 4 things that would make me pause and think about it carefully.

1. Stock 351W block. (Not really a bad thing, but for the money spent on other parts and machining this one?)

2. Stock rods. (Bad thing #1, with all the money spent and he planned on running nitrous, why not forged?)

3. Stock crank. (Bad thing #2, See bad thing #1.)

4 Engine vibrates and he drives it every day. (Bad thing #3, makes you wonder how much damage may have already been done and just how good the "Local Well Known" shop really is.)

However, don't mind me. I'm just really paranoid about buying something put together by anyone unknown to me. (I.E. I have been burned to many times in the past and I see bad examples of it happening frequently on the net.)

It's good to have a paranoid one in the bunch. It's kinda like with a female, sometimes we think with the wrong head. Lol

It definitely has a lot of parts on it. I say take a peek man! Then if you start project 408 we can have a even better reason to be jealous.

Yep, we might have to do that if he doesn't change his ways.

Well, it's not as bad as I was picturing in my head, but they look better polished or chromed IMO.

Note: I would say that about any colored wheel. Being 110% old school they just have to be chrome to be cool.
