i think im gonna look into seeing if i coukd use an external mic.

Yeah I want fukin videos!!!..if you don't get one before I stop out there we'll have to try my phone. It works really well with my setup, but it's also not as loud as yours (DAMNNN!!) But it does take good HD vids (mytouch 4G)
I'm down to try. I have tried about 10 different phones now.lol. mine does some of the worst sound. I have tried all the iPhone's and even tried the iPod. I even tried the droid but not the new one. The only good one so far was a sprint phone the photon.

i havent tried the iphone in the car yet. only idling from outside and i couldnt get a perfect sounding video. but my phone does do better in the car so maybe the iphone would do just fine if it were in the car.

I figured if there were any issues, vids of the launch might help sort them out, but if it is launching well it doesn't matter.

I have a Go Pro, the only thing I don't like is the learning curve for using it. I do like the add ons though and I want to get the remote control and extra battery pack to go with mine.
Yeah, what the heck is up with the new devices these days? Seems like they would be making things easier to use.

Glad you got to play around with your slicks on. That's probably some neck-jolting traction!

I have a vid uploading on youtube I'll post in a bit. I launched at around 3k and tried to feather the clutch, but still spun quite a bit then mashed the gas when it stopped spinning. The road is actually pretty goddamn sticky as it was just finished last week.
But the bigger issue is that once I hit 3rd I almost instantly lost power. It felt like a fuel issue, or maybe a tps going bad?..not to sure yet as it's not constant and kind of finiky. It will happen under normal acceleration or full throttle but not always. I've noticed this last week, but got gas at a station im not fond of and suspected ***** gas.
If you listen you can hear it once I hit 3rd then when I back off it's fine again. I'll post it in a minute.

Whammy!...
These vids from you guys, my friends, really get my blood pumping.
It's been so long since I have been able to drive mine it almost seems like I really don't have one, so every once in a while I hobble out to my garage and just take a look to be sure.

P.S. I heard that burble or miss. Any way you can rig a fuel pressure gauge you can see from the driver's seat?
Run a quick volt check on your TPS and make sure it scales up and down smoothly when depressing and releasing the throttle.

Also gotta ask what do your rpms do when it hiccups like that? Does it basically stay at that rpm and won't go past until you lift your foot a little?

Is there any ”safe” way to run a F/P gauge inside?...I may (if I remember) check my tps when I go back to my BB friends. I don't have a DMM.
And yeah I love when people post vids on here!..CAR PORN!!

I definitely passed a cop you can hear me chuckle as I pass him

The rpms can climb but very slowly as it looses tons of power and I usually back off as soon as it happens.

The only "safe" ways are to use a gauge isolator, which is expensive or use an electric gauge that uses a sending unit at the fuel rail and wires to the gauge itself.

Ok, I did a quick search, found some electric FP gauges and promptly fell out of my chair on seeing the prices ($195 and up ). Gauges have gotten MUCH higher in price since I last looked.

So, I continued searching and found the one in the link below that I think will work ok for you.

Mine too, I couldn't believe the prices I was seeing on the others.
They have the electrics priced at what the mechs with isolators used to be priced at.

I'm actually going to use one of the little "meters" and pressure sending units from Auber Instruments in my car.
