I think I got it pretty much figured out in my head. Once I get more into it I will share some more. The only thing I may need some ideas on is the bearing support bolt. They are gonna be hard to work into my design. But the drain and fill plugs won't be a problem. Once I get it tacked up good I will post a pic. I'm hoping I don't have to machine the flange, but if It needs it I am capable of doing it.

I'm there often. But i didn't build this car, I have aftermarket upper and lowers not sure of brand. And I have Saleen racecraft shocks and springs. It hooks great on slicks. I average 1.7 60's but hit 1.6's depending on weather..

I'm runnin stock in the back for now with the exception of coil overs in the back.

You could technically have someone plate and weld your factory control arms to make them more rigid.

I'm still trying to make my laden voyage. But from street driving my setup seems to be way better than stock.

Sub frame connectors, kyb shocks, umi lift bars, with stock springs cut down.

I have uppers/lowers, torque box reinforcements, and competition engineering adjustable drag shocks on brand new motto nt555r drag radials. And I get no traction! Granted the only run I got on this setup was a cloth dump not slip. But what can I do to get it to launch hard on a dump and hook up?

I have heard mixed reviews on the 555s. I also heard you have to do a really really strong burnout.

I would start with adding some good control arms.

I have pretty good tubular control arms they're just not adjustable. Yea some people tell me to do no burnout others a huge one. Anyone know for sure? When I tried last it was on 15 lbs and a pretty small burnout

The way ideas about them is, since they are a hybrid type tire they are a little harder than a normal drag radial. They are stiffer because they are also used in autox. But because of that there isn't any need to run lower than 20 lbs and it takes more to heat them.

They say do a really mean burnout until you can feel them starting to grab during the burnout. You will start to feel it trying to lung forward. At that point should be the best they are gonna be.

But imo getting a set of real slicks would be way better.

your making more power than me and I can smoke et streets at a 50 punch.. You need some full blown slicks for the track that's what I have to use or I spin.

Damn I don't. And shes in surgery right now waiting on some clutch dowel pins to arrive in the mail and it'll be back together. I'll post a video next week at the latest.

Word for the wise. Don't run with only two clutch dowels. You will blow ur brand new clutch up on its first pass. True story lol
