I'm sure it will take a few games for the rookie to get really hot.

I bet we'll see a lot of funky ref calls since they are holding out. Probably mostly just experience.

We gave you that TD on the next play anyway

I've been searching the mach1registry.org forum for some insight on pinging, etc. I was wondering what plugs you guys are going with as modded and if your FI? I know it's a diff engine, but just curious.

I just use autolites. I think fine tip iridium are what you want for FI except 1-2 steps colder than stock.

You know what, those look a whole lot like leveling legs.
If you could find a HD set with solid steel pads, they should work perfectly.

OR, If you or someone you know can machine some grade 8 threaded rod into a ball on one end and use a pad from a c-clamp.........maybe?

You can get the pads at McMaster Carr- http://www.mcmaster.com/#c-clamp-pads/=j81epe

Forget the leveling legs, by the time you get 2 of them they are as high or higher than the purpose made studs.
If the C-Clamps had a thread you could get nuts for they would work ok too.

Yeah that's the only thing I was worried about, the thread size. Hell if the threaded part on the clamp is steel and not some wierd metal(which is common) I could just cut and weld that part on the cover. Don't worry I can probably still make it look sexy.

I'm sure you can manage that very well.
Some clamps are forged, so that is a very good possibility, but what will you use for a locknut?
Maybe McMaster has nuts in those thread patterns?

Good point the jam nut. Maybe ill just quit being a cheapo and buy the proper bolts. Haha. So far I have got 0$ in this project. I have done everything from scrap steel at work.

Yeah, that might be best in the end.
However, I do love that total investment price.
