Pic.
I also think I'm gonna just cut the pony out and weld it onto the piece instead of using it for the actual piece.

Yeah looks easier. You lose a lot of the benifits versus the one I'm doing.

First. The rod ends on the links are suppose to be setup to actually preload the tubes. Is there room on that setup to get the cover off.

I will have bearing cap supports.

Drain and fill/level plug.

And the coolness factor. Lol
I actually thought of doing an axle brace on the inside. It looked pretty easy to. The one I saw was just a piece.

Your right.. On 9" rear ends the covers are solid you have to remove the pinion to get to get gears.. One of the best known racing rear-ends..

Here's the car.. In ready for a ride he just got it 1030rwhp..

That thing is sweet man. Come pick me up. Besides the 1200 miles(give or take), that shouldn't an issue huh?

Hey 90: last time I checked out your albums I saw that Chevy truck of yours. You still have it? It looks really nice. Tell me more!

Looks like you are a pretty good artiste' to me.
That's a better idea. Then you can paint it a contrasting color to make it stand out.

Yup, 9" Ford rear ends push a lot of different brand vehicles down the race tracks. I have one modded to fit the Mustang if I need it sitting in my garage.

What all is done to the engine to make the power?

Yep.. That's my 69' sold it though. Quick flip!!! Had a 454 bored to a 468. 150 shot of NOS.. Turbo 350 with 3500 stall, built 12 bolt rear end with ladder bar setup, tubbed rear end tires were monsters 31x16.50 m/t et streets.. It made 650 estimated on spray.. And would take vettes light to light. It was pearl white.. I got it for 7k finished the fuel cell and delivery system install, put the plate on it, relocated the battery, added an aluminum radiator installed racing bucket seats and harness straps.. New harness etc.. All parts came with the truck I installed them then sold it for $10,000.. It was easy $$ an fun..

That's pretty dang cool! Can you believe how long it took for it to land? Boy, that would give plenty of time to ponder things as you plummet to your death.
