Im sure I will swap it for an SFI balancer eventually, I just took it to a shop to have it replaced, drove it away and it was fine. It still works fine, but i tried to use a timing light and discovered that at TDC the marks are nowhere near the marker.
I mean I have a wideband, and fuel press gauge, but no PMS or anything. My chip is calibrated for my injectors and boost, do you really think I couldn't do a methanol setup with some timing and fuel pressure adjustment?

I'd like to see some clearer pics of the pulley. What I could see looked as if it had been cobbled together, maybe just a bad view of it?

Yes, the balancer outer ring could have slipped without to much noticeable vibration. The balancer weight is on the inner part.
If that is a stock balancer it is going to self destruct in short order. I would plan on replacing it with a balancer suitable for supercharger use as soon as possible. That it has slipped the outer ring so soon proves my point about having the correct balancer.

If you have a chip for tuning, you do not want to alter the timing or fuel pressure. Changes will have to be made under controlled conditions and the chip re-burned or replaced. That's exactly why I don't like chips and much prefer the PMS over them.

Oh no its all one piece haha. I will take some clearer pictures soon. Its kinda hard cuz the poor girl is still sitting on jackstands

Yea i was planning on it, simply for an SFI rating, but i didn't think it had spun. I will look into getting one sooner rather then later.

A PMS would be awesome but I don't know enough about tuning to really warrant one. I just feel like i would f*** something up bad. As soon as it comes off the jackstands I will take it in to have it tuned.

The timing marks may be off because your balancer has slipped the outer ring.
If that is a stock cast iron balancer it needs to be replaced with a steel or aluminum balancer suitable to use with a supercharger. The supercharger puts a lot of stress on the end of the crankshaft and balancer, so it needs to be of better material to be able to withstand those stresses.

P.S. You don't want to "play" with the timing unless you have a tuner and wideband to be able to see what your changes are really doing. Otherwise you stand a really good chance of destroying your engine.

dream, did you see my other suggestions for your project above?
Yeah I did just see it. But I had already gave the guy 2 templates. So Im just gonna go with those. As always I appreciate your creative thoughts. I went with the cursive mustang writing and the running pony. I'm gonna see what looks better after they are burned out. I sized them up last night to the width of the bridge and to fit in between the bolt holes.

See the sticky thread about the PMS. There are links to vids that show how to use it at the end of the posts. If an old fart like me is sure he can figure it out, I'm sure you could too.

6 years married, I too know it well lol, got 3 daughters now so I'm screwed, already told the wife the next big purchase is a huge garage behind the house so I can go out there and tinker.

She wants one more but I'm reluctant because I want a boy but my streak isn't looking too promising

Lol! Yup pretty much. My favorite Chevy is the 70 Chevelle w/LS6 454. I've been wanting to get a daily driver and lately wanting a mid 80's Monte Carlo SS. See, if I get another Mustang, it will just compete with my Mach1 for mods, otherwise I'd be fetching up a fox.

I like those ok, but my favorite Chevelle is the 69, SS 396, less powerful, but I like the looks better. When I was 18, thirty minutes of time separated me from a 69 Chevelle and a 69 Mustang. I was thirty minutes late getting the money there for the Chevelle and I ended up buying a 69 Mustang GT instead. The Mustang ended up being faster through the 1/4 mile. The rest is history.
