Gearing

My cobra has 3.08 gears, what exacty can i expect by replacing with 3.73 gears? More torque? Gas mileage isnt really a concern, dont want it to plumit from my current 18 mpg though, and what would that do to affect highway RPM's at 55-65 mph?

I don't know how much higher you rpms will be but you should still be way safe cruising at highway speed.you will probably lose 1-2 mpgs.well worth it though.

You will get much better torque, faster acceleration.
Before you change, time your car 0-60, then do it again after.

Re: Gearing

I take it you have a 94/95 Cobra. Don't be scared of the gear my friend...

If you had a DOHC I'd be recommending a 4.30.
