I have a 93 mustang. When I turn the ignition to the auxiliary position it sparks bit when I crank it I get no spark. Any suggestions?

Have you replaced the coil recently or at all? The coil may be bad.

The coil has to be able to hold a charge to provide a consistent spark.

Re: 93 mustang not getting spark

You need to remove a spark plug, put the wire back on it, lay it on the engine in a manner that it can get good contact with the lower metal portion of the spark plug and then watch it and have someone else turn the engine over a few times and see if there is spark at the plug.

If there is then you have some other problem.

If there is not then check your TFI module.

I had very similar problems... Unfortunately I never solved it myself. It was a random issue that happened hot or cold, but it fixed itself it seems. The only guess I have would be the ignition switch itself, it might have been loosing contact because it was the only thing that I screwed with that made a difference...

I've heard foxbodies are known to have ignition switch problems. They basically just fall apart after a while, knock on wood I haven't had that problem yet.

Pick up coil inside your distributer
