Re: Irritated

My take on all this is....It is your car badge it, change it, mod it to suit yourself.
There will always be someone who doesn't "like" it.
It doesn't matter if they like it or not as long as you do.

I even had a snake in the grill of my first GT.. I have some old pics of that car I'm currently looking for as only a couple even exist and they are not digital. Yet.

Very, very rarely will you find owners of those cars misbadging them.

My most hated mod is when guys dump something original, I.e.. Taking a 03/04 Mach 1 shaker hood and putting a regular style hood. Well that was one example, but that's just my 02

I hate that. My friend keeps trying to tell me to put gt badges on my 00 v6. It's annoying. I'm not a poser

Oh, man! This guy struts around like he was born with a silver spoon up his a$$! He owns a roach coach taco stand. Well, the food is pretty good at 2am after I drank about 46 beers. Lol! Next time I see him, I'm gonna tell him how amazing his truck is and see if he'll let me take a video of him telling me about it. Lmao!

its not a v6.... do i leave the running ponies on the fender?

do i say fuk it, and put "5.0" badges on it?

do i paint the bottom strip black of the rear bumper so it at least resembles a v8?

do i put cobra badges or svt badges on it since itsa bastard stang anyway?

or put a slogan in the vent window that says,"hand assembled with pride in ohio"?

so the question is... how relavent is misbadgeing a stang thats homemade?

Where i'm located at in texas, theres a pretty good sized car meet where about a 100 to 200 people show up with either muscle or rice with the occasional rare/ heavily modifed car or trailer queens. Theres alot of mustangs and camaros but they are all mostly newer. So when I take the fox out there every saturday night, I always get asked by a few people what all does it got. It's got the 5.0 badges, the gt body kit, etc. so it looks stock on the outside. All I tell them though is that its just a 2.3 with a gt body conversion because "I think it looks cool" with the 5.0 badges. Personally I love it when they buy it and start believing its a 4 banger.

but thats just me, I like it when they think its something different or slower because then that makes them easier on the cash to fork out for a race.
the only time its really annoying is when i'm at the parts store needing stuff for my 5.8 and going out and they say "well no sir this is a 5.0"...

FACEPALM!

So many of these I agree with. People ask me stupid questions and even worse suggest stupid $h¡t. As for auto zone, advance and o'rieley auto, that makes me wanna rip my hair out! I had a guy tell me my injectors dont have o rings WHILE I HAD THE OLD ONES IN MY HAND.
My vote is, keep your 95 bumper and if they doubt it, line em up and smash them.

I admire either, when done correctly and tastefully.
I don't think one "deserves" more than the other.
