T5?

Ok I got a t5 trans with the numbers saying that it came from a gm is that gonna be a problem

Post the numbers, a couple of them were the same.

If the shifter is in the right spot you can make it work but I'm not 100% sure if it's a direct swap, the ford and chevy numbers together kinda throw things off.

Shouldn't he use the # off the tag?

Those are casting/case numbers.
You need the number off of the metal tag to see exactly what you have.
