Will this work?

I know id have to buy some more pieces and stuff to get it to work with my carbed 5.0, like the hat for the carb, etc. So should I buy a new one or does powerdyne make hats for carbed cars? And I don't think this would make a difference, but would the blower work with a carbed car or just efi?

Spectre makes a hat for carbs that allows you to use tubes like efi style intakes. I don't have any real experience with that type of sc on a carb but you may need a blow through carb.

You can use a centrifugal supercharger but you need either a blow through carb with a hat, or a pressure box with a regular carb.

Should I keep my edelbrock 4 barrell 735 cfm carb? And what size fuel pump would I need to run 5-6 for a DD, and about 8 for racing?

If you use a "Hat" you will have to have a blow through carburetor.

The Edelbrock carbs are not one of my favorites, but it may be possible to modify it to work.

I would guess that you will need a fuel pump that will supply around 225 LPH at the pressures you specified.
You will be running lower fuel pressures, but you will need to supply sufficient fuel volume for your engine modifications.
