5 lug conversion ?

Planning on doing a five lug conversion on my 90 . I know where I can get a 95 gt for dirt cheap wondering if the axle splins will work if I bought the caR and just swaped the axles or would it be best to just fork the dough and buy a kit ?

The axles will work, but they add .750" - 1.00" to the width on each side which will somewhat limit your wheel choices.
Search your local salvage yards, newspapers, and Craigslist for a wrecked 95 that still has the parts you need. That would be your cheapest option.
Then you will have most everything you need to complete the swap including rear disc brakes and front spindles and hubs. Brake connections will require some special fittings (Ford M-4300 I think) for the brake lines and you may have to fab up a connection for the E-Brake cable.
