Procomp heads

Has any one used procomp heads on a 302?

Their is a guy thats running them and runs low 11s constant and gets a high 10 once in a while at the track I go to.

He did tell me he got them from ebay and thats when he laughts because he has beaten people that have afr's and tf heads for half the price

I have not used them personally, but my cousin has on his Chevy engines and he said they are decent heads and they perform just as well as some of the more expensive heads he has used.

All things being equal if given a choice and money was not an issue I would still buy the AFR heads over the Pro Comps. The quality is a bit better and they R&D and develop their own heads and don't "copy" off of someone else. Just my .02

I can relate to that.
I have billionaire tastes in cars and parts and a ragamuffin's pocket book.

The guy at the track has been running them for 3 years now with no problems. Your friends engine might have just been that it was just the engine was not put together right in the first place, thats the reason I do my own work I dont trust anyone but me
