Nothing so far guys I talked to the one guy on the police force that's actually helping me and we pulled up the guys name and the house he is registered to and went there and found nothing. He is gonna go to the trailers where some of the parts where seen at by the guy that called me last night and see what he can find there.

Hope you get your car back( or atleast find who did it and get 'em back). I have only had taillights stolen off of one of my cars (they sawed/punched out the trunk lock destroying the original t lid).
Then last night I had a dream that someone cut the fence at my dads shop and stole my 84 gt. It was a horrible dream.

Still nothing yet guys, I had a buddy call around and ask about the guy that I think took the car and we found out today that he has another trailer and a shop in another county about 40 miles down the road. We rode out there today and the shop was all closed up I think the guy that's been helping me that is a police detective is gonna try to go up there tomorrow and go in and see what he can find out

After reading this thread I had a nightmare that they took my fox in the night , I was going crazy.
I woke up and ran out of the house to see if it was there.
So I can only imagine how you feel best wishes and hang in there

I hope it does for you and I hope the crooks get what's coming to them.
I was a bit bored earlier and spent some time scouring craigslist again in your state and each surrounding state. Nothing turned up, Sorry.

Reflect back over the previous few weeks before it was stolen.
Do you remember anyone who you may have met online or in person that either had a noticable interest in your car or just blew it off or badmouthed it in any way? And now that person is very scarce?

If you come up with anyone, do some sleuthing and you might get lucky.
Patience and cunning will draw the rats to the trap.

Re: Stolen mustang

Hey Nick,

Any luck yet?

I ran across this - BioSmartStart for Automotive - and thought about you.
I know it's too late, but it's something to consider when/if you find it or get another.
I'm sure planning on getting one for my car.

Dang. Atleast you got another car. It's usually 86 with a 88 front end. Lol. But now it's a 88 with an 86. Nice car though.

Excellent!

Being a "four eye" owner myself, I'm a bit partial to the look.

Thanks guys, I pulled the motor out because the oil pan leaking and a freeze plug had rusted threw. So I went ahead and freshened up the bottom end and put a comp cam, comp roller tip rockers, a edelbrock intake, Holley carb and long tube headers. Now I just wanna clean up some wiring in the engine bay and put it all back together

Hey guys I know I'm bringing up a old thread I started but I got some pretty good news today. I met with a guy that knows the people that took my car and he told me and the detective the names of the three people that where involved in stealing the car and where I can find my motor and trans. He said he believes the car was cut up and scrapped but the motor and trans is in one of there cars but it has been converted to carb. So I'll probably never see my car or my supercharger again but maybe I'll atleast get some of my motor back and get to see these sorry pieces of car stealing trash get locked up.

I agree completely, detective suppost to be getting in touch with the local police department of where they took the car to cause it went across county lines, so he is gonna be getting in touch with them in the morning and hopefully gonna get a search warrant and go in the shop to where my motor is and I was also told that it's the same shop the car was stripped in so maybe I'll find some other parts laying around. I have actually met the guy I talked to today before awhile back he is another mustang guy. So I'm hoping for the best
