As u man no I am puttin a turbo on my 89 gt the bolts that hold the gas tank up were completely stripped and rounded so I cut the floor out with tin snips and changed it from inside the car...worked perfect lol

Great idea!
When I get back to work on mine I plan to cut out the area above the fuel pump and make a hinged "door" to enable easy access to the fuel pump.
That's definitely MUCH easier than draining and removing the fuel tank.

Yes it was so easy and I also cut out to put a new gauge in the tank

I may also use this trick.not for sure yet,but I will def. Look into it.a lot of people do this in many vehicles.
