gears

I just bought a 95 gt so im new to the mustang world but I found it odd that at 80mph in fifth gear the tach is reading 3000rpms is this normal or may I have a gear swap

Sounds like 4.10's/4.30s. With the rpm's and speed.

You had either 3.08, or 3.27 stock. Don't remember if 2.73 was used after 93.

Oh ok yeah what ever is in it now makes it feel really torquey but it drinks gas cuz im always at a high rpm
