sys Q? - Mustang Evolution

sys Q?

Any one changed the speakers in ur sn95 Mach 460 I blew out stock speakers and already went threw 2 sets of kicker comp 6x8s in front, blew first out and second set some how got wet...need component speakers for mine front 2 subs...suggestions?

I have the all kit of mach 460 come out of my 2003 cobra if u interest

I think you got something else going on in there, Have you had a stereo company or the dealership take alook at it? It sounds like you have something else in there thats blowing your speakers. There is nothing in the stock setup thats strong enough to blow a speaker.

Well I blew out my stock ones cuz I was pushing them to max. second set idk what happened I bumped them but not to much they were kicker component speakers...then I replaced them same kinda speakers and then they got wet, I took panel off and driver side back of speaker was wet...passanger is fine...idk how it got wet.but idk

If your speakers are getting wet that is why you Re blowing them.

There should be a foam cover over the backside of the speaker.
If they are getting wet then you may need new seals on your door.

Even with new seals in the door some water will come into the door along the window. What he needs is to get a baffle or cover of some sort for the back of the speaker.
