weird...

so eariler today i started my car and put her in N to roll outa driveway and got to the street and car jus died!!it was something electrical cuz radio and police scanner turned off 2..so i tured key to off postion and turned key to start it and nothing happend not evan my scanner fired up...so i do this 2 more times and same results but after 3 attempts i turned key to off and scanner turns on and so i turned key and car turned over jus fine...my V meter is reading fine everything works(lights, scanner, radio etc.) now dont understand what exactaly happend, could any of u ppl tell me what could of happened for it to do that with no V going to anything...it also rested my radio and that only happens when batt is disconnected...

Could be as simple as an ignition switch, or
Ground cable.

If things that didn't require key on didnt work it is most likely baterry related.battery, cables, grounds, etc.

Defiantly check your grounds and battery cables being tight had this problem on my 94 and ending up being a loose terminals

Yeah when I looked under hood one if my clamps to my battery is broke but still on tight...like i might of tightened it to tight at 1 point but.its still on there and every thing

my car has done this once... never did find the problem as it hasnt happened again... I blame gremlins in the electrical system

Yeah I had the same problem when I got my fox and turned out to be the batt terminals tried cleaning them and the car would still be temperamental when trying to start so I just for new terminals and cleaned the wires before hooking up and haven't had a problem yet
