93 Cobra upper intake bolts

Snapped one on the bolts
today as I was putting the upper intake back on. Can't find them anywhere online. Does anyone have them or know where I can Get them? Was the outside bolt and can not remember if I was the long one or the longer one.

Go to a bone yard and pull one off of an efi Windsor intake. 351 or 302, the bolts will work.

Re: 93 Cobra upper intake bolts

Failing to find the bolt you need you can also use some "High Tensile" strength threaded rod and cap it off with acorn nuts.

You need High Tensile strength rod because regular threaded rod is weak and is likely to break when you try to torque it down.

Yup that's what I was planning on doing if I can't find it. Don't want to go that route but if I have to I will.

In all actuality the threaded rod will act like a stud and probably hold better than a bolt. At least you lessen the chance of damaging the threads in the lower intake from cross threading and friction galling.

Not 100% sure on the thread pitch, but I think they are 5/16" x 18 Thread bolts.
