95 gt power door locks

The power door lock button on my driver side does not work the passenger side works fine but not the driver side I have replaced the switch and its getting power too and from the switch but wont lock

The lock solenoid in the door is bad.

It works fine when you use the passenger switch

Sorry, I missed that in your initial post.

If that is the case then the wire must be broken somewhere between the switch on the driver's side and the solenoid.

You're welcome.

Pick up a door panel removal tool at your local auto supply.
It will keep you from damaging the panel and makes it much easier to remove.

I have a whole kit from harbor freight but it rained all day so maybe tomorrow

I ruined a few fasteners and broke a door panel before I got my first tool.

Yeah it is! I have gotten a tone of use out of it with no issues but beware of thierry heat guns they are I total fail lol
