Hi anybody out there know the gross weight of 1988 mustang door with everything in it. Found a place down south selling rust free doors and trunk lids and want to get an idea of shipping costs.

Well, I'm considerably closer, but still a bit far for shipping.

I hadn't really thought about selliing them.
They have been sitting in the garage for 4-5 years.
There is a problem though.
Right now I'm recovering from an injury and fairly serious operation.
I would be unable to lift or get them packaged at the present time.
Maybe I could find someone to do it for me though.
I was initially hoping you might be close enough to just drive and see them.

I don't really know what they are worth, whatever you think is fair would probably be ok.
The Zip code is 65248 if you want to check.
I'll see if I can find someone to pull them out for pictures once you give me an idea of what they might be worth to you.
Whatever you pay I will just give to whoever I can get to take care of the labor and shipping.

In what condition are the doors. I'm looking for rust free. The ones on my car have severe rust at the bottom of the door.

They were ok with a bit of surface rust on one door about at the body crease where the paint was chipped.
Anymore, I'm not 100% sure until I can get someone to get them out of the garage, but being inside they should still be ok.

Thx for the info, it's to expensive to have shipped to me. Looks like I'm going to have to keep searching local. Finding a rust free door in Canada is like finding a needle in a hay stack. And when you do find them they want $600-$900. For the pair
