Hose by trans. ??

Jacked my car up an noticed a hose that's cut by the trans.. It's a metal hose cut on a 45* it has a bracket thats welded to the exhaust holding it... Is this normal? I can't trace it pass the trans. I recently bought the car... That's why I'm asking... It's a 95 gt..
An while I'm at it, are the factory headers cast or do they (look like) aftermarket??

The hose may be for the smog pump by the sound of it. The factory headers are not cast and are really restrictive at the bends.
