What is it!!

I have a 89 foxy..does anyone know what this is right in the center of the car..its in back of the stereo..thanks..

I think he may be talking about the computer?...when I installed my gauges I think I saw it back there..

No, they are behind the PS kick panel.
Only thing I can think of in the center are parts of the heater/ac vent works and the factory equalizer, but it is up high in the dash.

That's the factory radio amplifier.
You don't need it if you have an aftermarket radio or no radio.

If your Kenwood has NOT been wired into the stock system then yes you can take it out.
If it has been wired into the stock system then you can't remove it unless you want to completely rewire the system.

if you used an adapter harness,most of those wires probably run through that box.if you wanted to delete it that would require redoing all the wires that run through that box.not impossible but to most people probably not worth it.

Thanks but no..am actually going to rebuild everything.thats why am taking everything apart to take off things I dont need..its my lil project..but I'll get through it..am just slowly working on every single piece and a greatt way to know everything about my car..

Yea finished until you start driving it and/ or see something else you wanna add the boom your list gets just a little bit bigger. Weither it be upgrading interior exterior drivetrain. Suspenion stereo. A fox dream is never done lol. Good luck have fun.
