HELP Please!!!

Only when I press the pedal to the floor,I hear a scratching sound! I hope whatever it is doesn't mess up my pistons or crankshaft or camshaft?!! Anybody help diagnose please?

do you have oil pressure? check the oil dipstick

could be a bad piston ring or rod bearing but dont hold me on that.

Get a long screw driver and rev the car.if you put your ear on the handle and the other end on the motor it will help u find the noise.I actually have a stethoscope with a needle on it.works great.but anyways move the screwdriver around start on the intake and heads then move down to the block.then check your accessorys.if the noise is in the block then its most likely pistons/rings.if its in your heads its valvetrain.

+1. Are you using 93 octane? My 95 GT did that if I didn't use 93. I could always tell which gas station was cheating and never went back to that station.

Nah, it's just those hamsters running the drive wheel trying to get some traction.

The guys are correct, you may be hearing some light detonation.
Check your timing and make sure you have good fuel.
