Engine mounts

He 87 vert has horrible mounts. You can see the fan ground away almost an inch. My transmission is starting to make sorta like a light swirling/ rubbing in neutral. When I press in the clutch it goes away. Will bad engine mounts with the dropping of the engine mess anything like the throw out bearing up causing the noise? Thanks all and merry Xmas. Fox body fans are the greatest!

No, but it can add unwanted vibration.

It shouldn't. The noise you are hearing is likely the throw out bearing rubbing on the clutch forks.
The engine dropping down may have affected your clutch adjustment a bit.
Replace the motor mounts and adjust your clutch.

Merry Christmas to you too.
