need help
I just got a 1989 mustang gt and i have an area near the windshield directly in front of the dome light that has a wire with a open space and I was wondering if yall know what that wire could be for.

Not sure.
Maybe it's for a map light?
I would suggest you pick up a Chilton's or Haynes manual for your car that has the wiring diagrams, then you can trace it out to see what it is.

I will definately look through my haynes i never thought about looking at the diagrams.
