am.com

I called American muscle today because I got my hands on some Christmas money and want to order some mods. Well they are closed today. Does anyone know like if they will be open again before new years?

I bought one for 75$. The filter looked really small to me and the diameter of the tubing looked ALOT smaller than my 70mm tb, although I haven't measured it to be sure.

Tractor lol not tracker. Only reason I found it is because I was driving down road and door was open and saw it so I stopes and asked about it. He told me he wasn't really thinking about selling it. And called me a couple days later. Said he'd sell it to me. If when I'm done with it I bring it by and let him see it

---------- Post added at 12:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:06 PM ----------

Nah not a vert but has sun roof. Yea if you click on my pic it goes to my profile. Look down at bottom should have a pics button click on that and you can see all the pics of it

It's nice man ha with the mileage and shape of the car you pretty much stole it from him for Wat you payed. In NC a fox in fair shape with 120-175,000 miles is still in the 4500 to 5500 range.

And when it comes to tht cold air kit should I get it or pay more and get the bbk kit. I heard it works just as good and never heard nothing about it being too small..

If it fits I don't see why not. You gonna run stock MAF and TB

---------- Post added at 12:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:15 PM ----------

And with a company like AM. I don't think they would sell something that garbage n e way

---------- Post added at 12:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:17 PM ----------

It's prolly a OE replacement CAI. That why cheap but still improvement over stock

I bought it for my 00 v6 and it's is great. But it's not carb legal in California unfortunatly. The bbk one is carb legal. I just kept my old intake and I'll put that on come smog time

The cheaper CAI's work they are just not of as good quality.sometimes the fitment is not to par.also sometimes they rust faster.basically u get what u pay for.with that being said get what u can afford.

Ok thanks man I figured that it would be pretty good though since its from AM. I read reviews on it and everyone said they liked it. I figured maybe the reason why its cheaper is because its not preassembled..

I'd go with the JLT CAI, its a 4in pipe that necks down to 75mm tubing before it connects to the TB!

Re: am.com

I don't know much about the JLT CAI, but, as for JLT......they are a really, really good company to deal with. I have a JLT oil separator on my engine and it started sweating a leak by the valve cover. I took it apart and found the reason....when I communicated with JLT about it they had changed their inlet/outlet fittings to aluminum from plastic and sent me the new ones free of charge. Thought that was really a stand up thing for them to do.
