I got a parts car to strip apart for mine and the motor has gt 40 heads and gt 40 intake.im planning on putting them on mine but I've seen some info on porting but it seems like it could be pricy but does anyone know how much gain to expect and how much it might cost me?thanks

The price varies depending on your local machine shops. *sometimes* that price is not worth it because the price of better stuff is actually pretty cheap.there is a good article in the stickies about doing it yourself.but if your not comfortable doing it your gonna have to call your local shops and go from there.

The gt40 heads are OK but not worth pouring money into them for a port job. I picked up a set of TFS twisted wedge heads a few years ago for $400 that were pretty much brand new; only a few pulls on a dyno motor.

If you want a simple increase in HP and torque over stock, then I would just bolt on the gt40's as is. My .02 anyway.
