Explorer vs GT 40 Tubular

Is there any performance difference between an explorer intake and a tubular intake. I'm thinking its just cosmetics

If the Explorer intake is just like the Cobra intake, then the difference is very little. The Cobra upper is slightly more desirable for performance because it can be ported for better flow and the GT40 upper cannot due to its tubular design.

I believe the cobra intake I have now has been ported so I guess it would be no point for a change and its the same lower

Yes, all 3 if the intakes are ford intakes and basically the same. I meant to say I have an explorer intake that I think was ported and also a 65mm tb

I know they are all Ford intakes, but I have never personally seen or examined the Explorer intake, so I wasn't sure how it compares to the Cobra.
Keep the Cobra intake and use the 65MM TB.
