5.0 Dying Issue

I purchased my mustang about 6 months ago and the pervious owner stated he changed the fuel pump on it. My issue is when I am over 100 miles on a full tank of gas my mustang will die when stopping. I believe it has something to do with the MAF but with what I have noticed with the fuel it seems it could be the fuel pump. This issue doesnt happen when I have a full tank of gas.

Basically Stock 1990 Mustang GT
5 Speed
Ceramic Coated Headers, GT40 intake other than that completely stock

Please let me know if you guys need anymore details to help me diagnoise this problem, thanks for the help.

Re: 5.0 Dying Issue

its possible the pump is bad. sounds like the pump is overheating when the fuel level gets low. just a suggestion...
