JBA, Bassani, Hooker they are the top brand headers hands down BUT to me they are way over priced for shorty headers you'll get the same HP gains as you would with BBK headers that are $300 cheaper. That's my opinion!!!

Bbk are not solid welded they warp bad you have to replace them to quick you get what you pay for in my a opinion I would only put bbk on if I was going to sale the car it would look good and it's someone's problem other than yours

you can't compare BBK and Jba quality wise
Jba are much higher quality ,you get what you pay for

I have the BBK Equal Length shorties on my car and they have been on there for over 10 years.
No problems with them whatsoever to date.

I have bbk headers on mine and the quality is very good. They wouldn't be where they are at if that was true about them having problems.

I'm on my second set of BBK headers one shorty on a 351w and the longtubes on my cobra. The shorties lasted until rebuilt my motor and the longtubes look pretty stout. The welds look more than acceptable compared to some I have seen and they have thick flanges and aren't multiple piece tubes which leak their asses off.

This is a refreshing turn to the old short tube/equal length-non equal length vs long tube debate. I have yet to see a product debate.

Let's hear from some more owners on this. I am in the market for a full exhaust set from the block back. I think I'll start a new discussion, too.

My brother in-law has JBA headers on his 91 lx forged 347stroker and there was NO difference in the horsepower gains from his BBK headers, once we found that out I went with the BBK equal Lengths !!!!

When you look at JBA headers and BBK headers the only difference I can did is JBA's primary tube gauge is 14-gauge and BBK's is 16-gauge both are made with steel or 409 stainless depending on if you can Chrome or Ceramic so to (ME) now this is my opinion I could be wrong i don't know but that's why I think when it comes to shorty headers that JBA , Bassani, hooker etc or a little over priced !!

This has got so out of hand Harley or Honda they both sound good and will get you killed if you have a collision with a mustang gt the price is the only difference why not spend the extra money on the headers at least they will look good when you pop the hood trust me you will enjoy them more than the extra $300 on a casket

Let's face it life is short. Gas is high. Let's burn it up like a geek on wifi !!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be like buying caviar for lunch when a tuna sandwich would have filled you up much better and been a lot less expensive to boot.

A lot of us can't afford the higher dollar parts.
That $300 could be better spent for some of us at least in other needful places.
