Ok need some more help here

K I'm using a dig timing light on a 302 and the timing is going from 700 to 900 at idle is that norm or does anyone have the numbers I should be looking for

Not sure what you are asking, then again I'm not familiar with digital timing lights either.
Is that the idle speed?


Your idle needs to be at the factory spec or at least fairly close and the factory timing is 10 degrees BTDC.
