460bbf or 351w

So we have a chp notchback at the shop but it has no engine and we are not putting a 302 back. I want to drop a 460bbf and my friend wants to do a 351w. I personaly want a high reving big block on nitrous or maybe a set of twins(gt4088rs) my friend wants to do a 427ci but we have done that before already and it ran mid 9s n/a 9.4-9.7 all day on a 4gal 91 to 1gal c16. What do you guys think this will be the shops new race car and we want to have this car in the 8s and still be able to pick up some burgers at carls for lunch lol

My buddy took a 5.4 out of a navigator and twin turbo'd it. Fastest he ran was 8.73 on 275's. Also look up 9secsnake on YouTube and he's some videos of him going down the track

The 460 bored and stroked to mega cube size along with the twins should be able to accomplish your goals easily.

If you have never seen Nelson Racing Engines and some of the insane high HP, street driven capable engines/cars they have built, take a look and watch some of their vids on NRETV.

If we do the bbf we most likely ganna do a 532 with a the twins and want 1000whp on low boost on high boost we want to hit the 1500whp mark with a glide.

Check out the NRE Mirror Image Turbo System

There is much to be said about keeping both sides equal.

Today we ordered the block and rotating assembly from Competition Products, so bbf it is. The block was $900 and is already bored over. The RA was $2100 and is forged. Once the block is done we will order the heads its between scj's or a set of kaase 9s ill keep you guys posted

Please do keep us informed and updated.

Have you checked out the Blue Thunder heads?
They used to be the shiznit, but I haven't kept up with them for the last several years.

My last foray into the world of BBF's left me broke and broken hearted.
I just didn't have the money to build what I wanted.
I still have 4-6 blocks and stock rotating assemblies though.
So I went back to my SBF's and all was good again.

I mostly do modulars but i'll do a sbf and bbf once in a while. Yeah if we go with the kaase heads they are ganna drain the project account quite a bit. For some reason I find modular engines more expensive to build than bbf.

We seen this car on youtube that is one very sweet build. I have allways wanted to build a n/a 5.4 but I sold the engine and a f1r procharger to fund my turbo 2v. Now that I think about it I need to go to the track more I need to get a time slip.
