You can use the stock computer, but I'd plan on getting a tune or buying an AFM PMS and tuning it yourself to get the most out of it.

Thank you for the compliment too.
I'm just a guy, much like everyone else on here, who likes Mustangs and enjoys helping others.

The PMS tuner seems like a good investment but I'm not the greatest with electronics. Is it very difficult to use?

Not being physically able to install all of the many upgrades I have for my car yet, I truthfully don't know yet.

All I can tell you for sure, is that from reading the instructions and documents on the AFM PMS site it doesn't look to be overly difficult.

I have also purchased a book on Ford Fuel Injection and EEC (1988-1993 Ford Fuel Injection & Electronic Engine Control, By Charles O. Probst), which will help me to better understand how the EEC IV works. I'm sure it will be very beneficial when I'm ready to begin tuning.

Here are the:

Instructions & Tuning Tips

While there is quite a bit of info in the instructions, I don't think it will be hard to catch on to tuning with it.
