body panel swaps

So a friend of mine has an 84 lx and was hit in the drivers side fender recently. I have an 87-93 drivers side fender. They look identical but are they for sure? Thanks for any and all help

No 87-89 and 90-93 are. The newwer ones are slightly bigger and rounded off to accommodate for larger wheels. Sorry didn't all the way answer your question. I'm not sure what was different if anything on the 84

The fender should fit yes, but if it's a 90-93 fender the wheel opening is bigger an wouldn't look right.
