The shop is called Dynotune MP and the owner is Mike Post. He actually did a On3 kit yesterday on a car similar to mine but with a different intake and e cam and it made 418rwhp@ 8psi. Needless to say I am pumped and can't wait for nice weather and my car back. Mine should make somewhere around 340-360rwhp "I think" based off of the above numbers since mine is completely stock motor.

Is he planning on resurfacing the heads and block or is he going to try a different gasket?

If he changes the gaskets, please find out what he uses and how he prepares the block and heads for us. That info will help others who may have the same issue.

Get details on the gaskets if you can.

Super psyched but one of my "new" injectors was bad from the get go. Part of the issue probably Have to wait another day or two for a 42lb injector

Nope, not at all. Obviously never got the tuning done. Have to wait until maybe next Saturday now. Also have to find a single 42lb injector ASAP.

Dynotune Day!!! Later today or tomorrow I will post numbers, parts list and my experiences. Wondering if I should start a new thread properly titled and easy to search "ON3 fox body turbo"? Thoughts?

Re: 91 5.0 Mostly Stock

I just read this entire thread. Some of it was a bit surprising and some was totally expected. As the thread progressed and the problems came and went, most of that seemed "normal" to me as I've "seen it all" before(been into the Fox body since 1986).

Jay, why stop at asking for an injector? Mike will probably determine the reason for the blown head gasket was the faulty injector. Cometic gaskets are, generally speaking, the best you can get for a 5-5.8L engine.

Getting Mike involved was a great idea. Seems that most people in this thread don't know who Mike Post is, but guys, I can tell ya, this guy DOES know what he's doing. I haven't seen him in years, but I know he's been into Mustang tuning and racing since before I met him in 2001. There wasn't much to "tuning" a Fox body in 2000 or earlier, but guys like Mike were tuning Renegade class race cars and similar builds. If memory serves correctly, Mike Post is a former NMRA Renegade class champion. I'm pretty sure he was the season champ in 2001. Back then, those guys were running very low 9's with a few 8's thrown in and if you saw the limits on the build allowed, you'd have to wonder how they did it.

294RWHP/407TQ @8.5lbs of boost for those of you who are interested. I will explain and provide a parts list, my experiences and my dyno sheet once I have time. Also, my motor is "completely" stock and I highly recommend this turbo kit. More to follow
