Traction problem - Mustang Evolution

Traction problem

Got a set of et street m/t on pony wheels I was messing around launching getting ready for the track and I can't get them to hook I dropped them down to 15psi and I am wondering if I heated them up enough they are brand new

Gt40x heads,e 303 cam, Ford racing 1.6 roller rockers, cobra upper and lower intake, ram air intake, c&l bigger maf, 30lb injectors, Bbk fuel Pressure regulator, double roller timing chain,Bbk shorty headers & h-pipe,flowmasters cat back,chipped,t-5 swap king cobra clutch, 4.10 gears.

I told you ,there new , you need to do a serious burnout to break them in young buck !!!! never doubt the old guy
and also drop them down to about 12 - 14 lbs at the track .............

They may not hook well on the street, unless/until you do enough burnouts in one spot to lay down a good coat of rubber.

Got ya well the track opens soon and that was the purpose of buying them so I hope to be fine there I want some 1.9-1.8 60fts

drag radials dont hook good on street its not smooth its rough asphalt

There not the drag radial kind they almost look like a slick and have soft sidewalls

I think you should be able to manage that ok.
You'll have to learn how to launch the car again though, because it will be much different when the slicks start to hook.

I think you will get there.
It may take some practice and tuning tweaks, but it is a reasonable goal.
