Help Please!

hey guys,

soorry i havent been on here in a while... i havent been active for quite a while now! so i have a 1995 Mustang GT Convertible Red!!! i have a question about what it is doing... Today i started the car up... it was a little rough, hasnt been started in a month! i just changed the alternator earlier last week, and i started it and i revved the engine and it stalled out? so then i started it again and it was fine and i revved it and it was good... but the car was shaking a little bit but i guess its normal for a v8 5.0! heres the prob, when i put it in drive it feels like it hesitates a little bit but it seems to drive fine, also there is a type of rattling like a ding sound rattling? what could these be from? what could i check there is no check engine light on or anything! its alwys been a little rough but i feel like it hesitates and makes that ring noise! (rattling) and when i revved it it went pas the 5 mark on the rpm gauge and it automatically like stopped revving and went down back to 1! is this normal? thanks alot for your help!

Fellow mustang friend,

That's normal for bad gas. This new ethonal gas doesn't last long.

Re: Help Please!

Put some good gasoline in it (non-ethanol if you can find any) and maybe run some injector cleaner through it.You may also at some time want to check and maybe change out your injector o-rings and caps just to insure there are no vacuum leaks or cracked caps.
