rated horsepower on 99 explorer - Mustang Evolution

rated horsepower on 99 explorer

I was wandering why the 99 explorer 5.0 is only rated on 215 horsepower since it has the gt40 package on it

Probably because of less aggressive tuning in the ECU and other differences in the engine, exhaust, etc..

Ok thanks man. U always have a good answer for everything. I'm getting ready to put the gt40 heads amd intake on my 94. I was wandering for the intake do I need the one that has the egr in the intake or the one without it cuz I can get either one. Amd I'm not goinh to use the egr when I install everything

If you are not going to use it and you are sure you won't ever need it, then get the one without.
