Chip!!

I've decided to go with a custom tune and the speed shop I'm going to use is (second street speed in Pa) and they told me if I supply the chip they will dump tune for me for $350-$425. Now my question is what's a good chip to use ?

Re: Chip!!

I personally would go with AM's tuner and tunes for $375 its a SF3/X3, i have mine and it has three settings and you get free tunes for life! Go for AM's!

But with a sct 4bank chip I know my car won't be 100% but is it worth it and will my car run well?

If you get just the chip with the canned tune it wont be 100%. However, it sounds like they want you to get a chip so they can burn in their own custom tune into the chip. If this is the case, then you will be running at 100% on the custom tune and (if you get the sct) youll still be able to keep the other 2 canned tunes as well. You could use them for if you ever needed to step down on the octane level or you could write yourself a nice fuel saving tune...or whatever you ever wanted to use the two other settings for

Well said, it all depends on how much money your willing to spend!

I use SCT in one car, and Diablosport Preditor in the other car. I like both. I had a "Custom" Tune, done on the Mustang.

Because of the year of your car, you are limited to what you can find for it.
