Tune it!
If you don't have one get a Chilton's or Haynes manual for your car.
Check your timing and fuel pressure.

There is no need to get excited and emphasize that you had software or that you have both manuals.
We were not talking about software and software won't tune your engine for you.

I was not talking about a tuner, I was saying tune the engine.
Nothing you did, will do anything toward fixing the problem you described.

Use your manuals and look up how to tune up the engine.
Set the timing and check your fuel pressure.
Check your spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor.

What kind of "tuner" do you have anyways?

Bad news.
I researched that tuner at Delta Force Tuning
I could not find it on their website, it may be out of date and no longer manufactured.
They do have an update to the "Commando" Software for $341, but you have to have proof of purchase for the Special Forces software to even get that.

The only things they have that appear to be compatible with the 88-95 Mustangs are the "Commando Software" at $645, and the "Delta Force Software" and that runs $1800. Then to be able to use them you have to buy a "Plug In Chip" at another $227 along with a "8-Position Cable Switch" at $114 and a "Ford Chip Burner" at $270.
$1270 to $2411 total depending on which software you choose.
Makes my AFM PMS look cheap at $970.

I was interested to see that there may be other tuning options for the 88-95 Mustangs until I saw their prices and noticed that they have no listing or description of exactly what their tuner will do or even an instruction/installation manual to look through.

Yes, and ask whoever you bought it from if they can find the receipt.
