84 GT Info Center

My help with this one?

I have an 84 20th Anniversary GT with a 5.0 V8...CFI and autotrans. In the center console Ford has an info cluster which displays lamp, wiper fluid, fuel status etcc... My fuel level status lamp is always on regardless of the level.

Any clues as to what might be wrong?

Thanks everyone!!!

Re: 84 GT Info Center

Does your fuel gauge work? My light is always on as well, but my gauge isn't working either. I believe my problem is the sending unit in the tank, or a broken wire or something.

Yes...my fuel gauge us working. I've read up on the sending unit inside the fuel tank.
I believe this might be the issue. I was looking for an easy fix.
