I once owned/built a 65 Ford Shortbed F100.
It had a straight axle front end and no power steering, along with a mini-spool in the rearend and 3.89 gears.
To this dubious mix I added a built 429 BBF and a C-6 auto transmission.
The first time I opened it up from a 20 MPH rolling start.....well it just pretty much went wherever it wanted too, because I couldn't steer fast enough to keep up with it.
