Yes, I believe that it will, but why would you want to go to manual steering?
Is it a race only car?

Ok, but I'd suggest you see if your buddy will let you drive his for a few days to get a real feel for it.
I drove one with manual steering and the novelty wore off pretty quickly after driving it in traffic and at slow speeds for a while.

+1

However I do have manually steering on my mustang. It's not bad if you don't mind a workout.

My reflexes have slowed so much, I need all the help and advantages I can get.

I once owned/built a 65 Ford Shortbed F100.
It had a straight axle front end and no power steering, along with a mini-spool in the rearend and 3.89 gears.
To this dubious mix I added a built 429 BBF and a C-6 auto transmission.
The first time I opened it up from a 20 MPH rolling start.....well it just pretty much went wherever it wanted too, because I couldn't steer fast enough to keep up with it.
