Stock fuel rails

With 24lb injectors can you use stock Fuel rails.

+1 They will work just fine. That's what has fed my 86 GT for a number of years now.


There is a modification you can do the the "block" to enable it to flow more fuel.
It involves drilling it out to provide more flow around that 90 degree bend.
However, it may not be worth the time and effort involved, since the cost of fuel rails is not all that high anymore.

If you are interested, I ran across a set of aftermarket fuel rails on Scar Performance for $75.
It's rails, plugs and mounting hardware only, you have to fab your lines, which isn't hard to do.


They are located 2/3 of the way down the page.
