HCI vs HI

Well i was going to do a full long block but cant afford that much right now so was looking at HCI or HI. I currently have a street heat intake and am pretty set on AFR 165 heads. So question is, if i go with just HI with 1.7rr will i be near 300rwhp? But if i go with a cam also will it make a big difference? Was thinking either E cam or steeda #19 cam. Not sure what would work better with head and intake combo. And what rwhp would i see with either cam? Current mods consist of CAI, 70mm TB, street heat intake with shorties to O/R H to magna packs. Also MSD 6AL2 and msd coil. I plan on dyno tune either way also. Thanks

You'd be better off going with a complete HCI package as all of the components are designed to work together.

Go to Trick Flow's website and see what they have for packages that include the intake you have. Some of their top end kits are claimed to produce 350+ HP. Maybe you can get just the cam and heads to go with the intake you have.
Here are the kits at LRS - Trick Flow Top End Kits
