Hello my 5.0 brothers!

I've done my research for Awhile now been looking into a 331 or 347 stroker with the aspiration of a turbo.

My thought is anyone know some crate motors that could handle a 76mm or 80mm turbo? And I know there are crate darts out there but trying to find a reasonable price no a $15,000 crate something under 10 grand.

If it comes to it I'll just by a dart block and do a build up.

The best bang for your buck are the boss 302 block.they can handle a lot of power and I think they have 4 bolt mains.

Yeah I think they have both 2 and 4 bolts mains. The only thing is I really don't have the place to build from the ground up. That's the reason looking for a crate that can handle some HP and torque. I know chp.com you basically make your own crate.

That's a nice set up. Do you know what the internals are rated at for handling power?

I looked into the on3 from jegs, I just haven't really heard of a lot of people running them. If anything I would lean to a turbonetics, or hellion. Just because they have a good warranty and are well known

Oh ya I would. I'll just have to get my space all cleaned out then start working on it. Should be about the best 20 grand someone can spend right? Lol

Re: Hello my 5.0 brothers!

Take a look at Keith Craft Performance Engines. They built the engine in my car over 10 years ago and I have been very happy with it.

Also take a look at the DSS Racing offerings.
They have many different engines to choose from and most of what I have heard and read about from them has been good.
